Material and craftsmanship

Material: Genuine olive wood – natural, food-safe, antibacterial. Wood only from olive trees that no longer bear fruit (sustainable origin). Size: approx. 30 × 15 cm, approx. 2 cm thick. This is a natural product, so every board is one of a kind. Each board has individual natural features: grain, knots, dark inclusions and small cracks. With olive wood this is completely normal and gives it its character. Engraving: precise laser engraving directly into the wood – no sticker, no print. All dimensions are approximate; grain, color and shape vary naturally from board to board. Care: rinse with lukewarm water and a little dish soap, not dishwasher safe. Made in Germany.

Can I freely choose name, date and saying?

Yes – in the personalization field you enter what should be engraved: a name, a date, a saying or a combination. You also state the font you want and choose the engraving position. In the special requests field you can add icons, graphics, the layout of the engraving or any other wishes. On request you receive a preview before production, which you approve.

Which fonts and engraving positions are available?

You can choose from 33 fonts: 25 script fonts (Schriftart 1–25) and 8 print fonts (Druck-Art 1–8). You will find the overview in the product gallery. For the engraving you can choose bottom left, bottom center or bottom right – you can describe another position in the special requests field.

How big is the olive wood board?

The board measures approx. 30 × 15 cm and is approx. 2 cm thick. Olive wood is a natural product: grain, color and shape vary from board to board, and all dimensions are approximate. That makes every board one of a kind.

Is olive wood food-safe and dishwasher safe?

Olive wood is naturally food-safe and antibacterial – ideal as a cutting board or serving board. Please do not put it in the dishwasher: constant moisture and machine detergent attack the wood. Simply rinse with lukewarm water and a little dish soap and let it dry. Occasionally rubbing it with olive oil keeps the board well cared for.

How long do production and delivery take?

We produce your board in 1–3 business days. Shipping within Germany is free, and delivery usually takes 1–3 business days after dispatch. Worldwide shipping with DHL including tracking is also possible. If you would like a preview, allow some time for the approval – for time-critical birthdays we recommend ordering at least 10 days before the date.
