Wreath with your own design: From your AI draft to a personalized hanger
A design created with ChatGPT, Claude, or Nano Banana for your wreath—such as a small house, your initials, or a seasonal symbol—is a lovely starting point for a truly personal hanger on your front door. Unlike a cake topper, however, a wreath hanger stays outdoors in wind and weather and is usually viewed from some distance. This places different demands on your design than a table decoration. 1) Why a wreath design has different requirements than a cake topper
A cake topper stands on a cake for a few hours, indoors, and is viewed from close up. A wreath hanger, on the other hand, stays outdoors on your front door—rain, sunlight, temperature fluctuations, and wind are part of everyday life. Your AI draft therefore not only needs to look appealing; it must also be translated into a material and construction that can withstand these conditions.
- Is the material thick enough to prevent the hanger from quickly wearing out or warping in the wind?
- Is the hanging solution (hole, eyelets, or ribbon) stable enough for the weight and size of your design?
- Does the design still look clear from a distance of 2–3 meters—as a wreath is normally viewed?
2) Material thickness, engraving depth, and contrast—legible even from the street
One detail that is easy to overlook in an AI draft is that what is clearly recognizable on the screen through color and contrast must work on your front door solely through light, shadow, and the depth of the engraving. Can I use my AI-generated design directly for the wreath?
As a template, yes; as a finished file, no. We adapt it specifically for outdoor use—with sufficient material thickness, clear contrast, and a stable hanging solution.
Will an engraved piece of wood really last outdoors on the door?
Yes, our wreath hangers are made for outdoor use. As with any wooden product used outdoors, some protection from constant moisture is recommended, such as a covered entrance area.
Why does my design look different on the door than on the screen?
Because engraving works through light, shadow, and depth rather than color. We therefore deliberately translate shading from your AI image with stronger contrast for a wreath design than for an object viewed from close up.
Can I also combine just my initials or a name with a small AI symbol?
